ITS is excited to announce this change and will be upgrading all users to Microsoft Teams by December 17, 2020 to better support remote and flexible working conditions and help drive increased productivity and efficiencies at FSU. Microsoft is retiring Skype for Business on July 31, 2021, after which it will no longer be accessible or supported. Teams can help streamline the way users collaborate and get work done. You can use Teams from the web, desktop or mobile, no matter where you are.
It is a central interface that brings together chat, meetings, calling, collaboration, app integration and file storage all in one place. Microsoft Teams is the new central hub for teamwork.
